MIDDLETON
BEACH TO MT CLARENCE

Albany Holiday Units is a
200m Walk from the pristine Middleton Beach (pictured right). Go
for a swim, walk along the beach or the bitumised cycleway to Emu Point. |

Walk around Mt Clarence along
the Boradwalk (view pictured left) and experience the breathtaking
views, you may even see a Whale ( July to October). |
Drive up Mt. Clarence through the Avenue
of Honour to the highest point in Albany, the site of the first ANZAC
Dawn Service and home of the Dessert Mounted Corps Memorial. Atop Mt.
Adelaide is the Princess Royal Fortress, a restored World War I
defence establishment.

DRIVES
Visit the Old Whaling Station and Museum
and Frenchman's Bay. View the spectacular natural wonders on our
coastline such as Jimmy Newells Harbour, The Salmon Holes, Stoney
Hill Lookout, The Blow Holes and don't miss The Gap and The
Natural Bridge (both pictured below).

HISTORIC
ALBANY, WATER ACTIVITIES AND HINTERLANDS
As
Albany was the first settlement in Western Australia it has some

Choose
from a wide variety of water activities on offer such as a boat cruise around
the harbour or up the Kalgan River, a fishing trip, or go on snorkelling/diving
trips to see among other sites the former HMAS Perth.
Albany
is centrally located making it a good base to sample the region including the Porongurups
and he Stirling Ranges including Bluff Knoll and the wildflowers
in Spring. Visit award winning wineries and the Mt Romance, Sandalwood
Factory.
